WPG Fellowship Tour 2027
The World Percussion Group exists to help emerging artists bridge the gap between study and professional life. As representatives of WPG, Fellows are expected to demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism, respect and personal responsibility throughout the programme.
WPG Fellows act as ambassadors for the organisation, host institutions and the wider percussion community. Every participant contributes to the learning environment, reputation and success of the Fellowship. The following principles apply throughout online sessions, rehearsals, performances, residencies, travel and social activities.
Arrive prepared for rehearsals, clinics, performances and online sessions. Learn material in advance and contribute positively to all activities.
Attend all scheduled activities on time and with the resources required to participate fully.
Assist equally with instrument movement, stage changes, setup and logistical duties when required.
Treat fellow artists, staff, audiences and host institutions with professionalism, courtesy and mutual respect.
Communicate positively and professionally. Aggressive, discriminatory, abusive or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
Represent WPG positively in person, online and on social media, recognising that your actions reflect on the wider Fellowship community.
Touring can be physically and mentally demanding. Fellows are expected to take responsibility for their wellbeing and contribute positively to the group environment.
Excessive alcohol consumption is prohibited. Alcohol must never impact professional responsibilities. Illegal substances are strictly forbidden.
Fellows must respect local laws, customs, venues, accommodation providers and host institutions throughout the programme.
The WPG Fellowship is built upon trust, professionalism and mutual respect. Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, removal from the programme and forfeiture of any fees already paid. By participating in the Fellowship, artists agree to uphold these standards and contribute positively to the experience of all participants.
The WPG Fellowship Tour 2027 combines international performance opportunities, conservatoire residencies, new commissions, professional recording, mentorship and career development across Northern Europe. Applications are now open.
