This Anders Kann Elten is a Danish percussionist, soloist, and educator known for his musical versatility, clarity of expression, and innovative approach to contemporary percussion. A graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, Anders has performed as a soloist and chamber musician across Europe, the United States, and Asia. He has appeared with major ensembles including the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, Athelas Sinfonietta, and the Esbjerg Ensemble, and is a frequent performer at international festivals dedicated to new music and percussion.


In addition to his performance career, Anders is a dedicated educator and currently serves as a percussion professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, where he mentors a new generation of soloists and ensemble players. He is also a core member of the innovative percussion quartet Percurama and works closely with composers to develop and premiere new works for percussion. His teaching philosophy emphasizes musical storytelling, technical finesse, and the ability to connect emotionally with audiences — values he instills in his students through both traditional and forward-thinking repertoire.


Anders is a Yamaha Artist and an ambassador for the marimba and solo percussion performance throughout Scandinavia and beyond.
